Hi' Dear Listrine, I and my family also use Listrine mouth wash regularly, I think those who are having a habit of smoking or chewing tobacco or drinking alcoholic drinks they are quite out of permanent cure of Bad Breath, as a Homoeo physician I can say that if we use our High Potency Constitutional Homoeo Medicine to cure Oral disease Like pyorrhea and use Listrine together then there may be the possibility to cure it. Thanks.

If you eliminate the cause of your bad breath, you can permanently eliminate the bad breath itself. Most of the factors that cause bad breath are preventable, the most obvious being the improvement of your dental hygiene. Sometimes curing bad breath is a simple matter of brushing and flossing your teeth and gums more often. You’d be surprised at the effect that can have on the condition.

Of course, there are other causes of bad breath or Halitosis as it is know in medical circles. Smoking is a major contributor, and not just for the reasons you’d surmise. The smell of cigarette breath to a non-smoker is offensive, but even to those who do smoke the odors coming from a smoker’s mouth can be overwhelming. Smoking dries out the mouth and inhibits the salivary glands from working properly, causing bad breath.

On that note, drinking more water can also eliminate bad breath. If you’re a habitual coffee drinker and consume little or no water during the day, your breath will stink. Coffee is a diuretic. It dehydrates you and, like smoking, inhibits the salivary glands from working the way they are supposed to. Other beverages and foods can be the cause of bad breath also. If you’re not eating a healthy diet, try making some nutritional changes and see if that makes a difference.

It is possible that your Halitosis is caused by something you have no control over. Those with heart conditions, kidney and liver disease, diabetes, and HIV have a tendency to emit some pretty foul odors from their oral cavity. If you have tried everything else on this list and are still suffering from bad breath, call your doctor and make an appointment for a complete physical. That bad breath could be a warning sign of something far more serious.

No, there isn't a permanent cure to bad breath. While there are numerous preventive and precautionary measures, bad breath is an ongoing problem if it exists. It can be dealt with using the many products available on the market.

Some of the more common culprits of bad breath are - anaerobic bacteria that live in the back of your tongue and mouth, post-nasal drip, and Tonsilloliths (Tonsil Stones).

Bad breath is a reason of digestive problem or the problem in teeth, so you are the best judge to check what problem you have and consult a doctor. In order to control bad breath, you should keep a little quantityy of Daar Cheeni (Cinnamon) in power form or put a small piece of Daar Cheeni like Supari (Dalee) in your mouth. During night before going to bed, you can wash your mouth with warm water boiled with Daar cheni.

there are medical evidences which say that bad breath is after a certain age and can happen to all age groups. It can happen because of certain deficiencies of minerals and essential nutrients, as per the medical experts. You can have a Listerine mouth wash in the morning to keep a check on the bad breath which happens due to bacteria accumulation. Also it is advisable to brush your teeth twice or thrice a day

Bad breath I had it for about 18 years, I’d already decided when I was going to end my life. I was Mr. unpopular. I didn’t think to read about it on the web until one day a person I didn’t even know told me I had real bad breath and said he had it once too and told me to check online for a site called badbreathcure.com.au as it worked for him to cure his bad breath. I was thinking how nice he was as most people just hold their nose and walk away from me. Anyway I followed badbreathcure.com.au advice and after a week I noticed my tongue started turning red and the bad taste was gone from my mouth. I started noticing people had stopped holding their nose and trying to get away from me. A few months later I bumped into that guy again. I told him I use his advice and thought it worked, he ask me to breath out in to his face while he smelt it and he’s like smiling and said my breaths is fresh now. I could have hugged him, I didn’t tell him how I felt just a few months ago, but he and that site where a life saver to me. Don’t let bad breath ruin your life like it tried to do to me. Another site I found useful is homebadbreathtest.com it shows you how to test your breath without leaving home. My Dr writes- Hi I'm Dr James Wright, I'm an EMT bacterial researcher. I recommend all bad breath sufferers visit http://www.oraltech.com.au and http://www.badbreathcure.com.au and http://www.homebadbreathtest.com as I know of very good oral health outcomes from people who follow their advice. Keep your teeth clean and brush in the night before going to bed. You may avoid brushing in the morning ( though you should do ) but in the night ,must di it. Keep your gums healthy by massaging with your finger tip and apply maximum pressure, let gums bleed. Gums bleeding will stop ater few processes and gums will remain healthy. Also keep your stomach fit and pass stool twice a day i.e.moring and evening. Adoption of these practices will take care of your breath problem.

See to it that you are properly hydrated and eat fresh, fibre rich vegetables and foods to keep constipation at bay. Mix lemon juice with twice the quantity of rose water. Use this mixture to gargle as often as possible. This helps to get rid of bad breath.

Gargle with a cold decoction of Aloevera mixed with honey in case of chronic bad breath.

Definitely. Consult a homoepath. The homoepathic treatment will be curative and any other will be palliative. Bad breath itself is not a disease but one of the symptoms of the disease you are suffering from. Taking into consideration various other symptoms and modalities i.e likes, dislikes, aggravation, amelioration, i.e taking into consideration the totality of symptoms, the homoepathic remedy will be found which will cure you in totality, bad breath including.

It can be either from Ur mouth or from Ur stomach. U may try the following to address Ur bad breath.

OIL PULLING:

Utility--- removes toxins from the body, more so from the mouth, gums, teeth, stomach, cervix, uterus, lungs, heart, liver, intestines, ears, brain, etc., etc.

. However, U may use sun flower oil, ground nut oil or til oil, rice bran oil, mustard oil, etc.Procedure: Every morning, in an empty stomach, take 2 tsp of cooking oil.

[saturated fatty acids and oils should not be used, like, Dalda/Vanaspati, coconut oil or ghee] and put it in Ur mouth and rinse it for 10 minutes; until it becomes white liquid. Spit it out and then rinse with luke warm water and then brush Ur teeth

ACUPRESSURE TECHNIQUES:

Utility—Blocked energy + toxins shall be moved from all Ur internal organs to purge in the normal drainage system, i.e., urine, feces, sweat, cough, menses[ladies], vomitting and all the organs shall function upto optimal levels.

With ur thumb, press ur/his/her palms and soles, wrists and ankles on both sides. Suppose pain is felt while pressing a particular point in the palm/sole, u have to press the surrounding area—just like u r pumping out air from that painful point. The blocked energy in any internal organ, be it lungs, heart, stomach, kidneys, pancreas, liver, etc., shall be released along with toxins if any. As a last point u must press middle part of each palm/sole; so that toxins, if any, shall be excreted/purged through urine without affecting the kidneys.

It should be done in an empty stomach or after 2 hours after meals. With this, all the endocrine glands and their hormonal secretions shall be regulated. All internal organs shall function up to optimal levels.

With best compliments.

Most cases (85–90%), bad breath originates in the mouth, sinus and throat. The intensity of bad breath differs during the day, due to eating certain foods (such as garlic, onions, meat, fish, and cheese), obesity, smoking, and alcohol consumption. Since the mouth is exposed to less oxygen and is inactive during the night, the odor is usually worse upon awakening ("morning breath"). Bad breath may be transient, often disappearing following eating, brushing one's teeth, flossing, or rinsing with mouthwash.

Causes:

1, Tongue, A common location is the tongue. Tongue bacteria produce malodorous compounds and fatty acids, and account for 60 to 70% of all cases of mouth-related bad breath. Methods used against bad breath, such as mints, mouth sprays, mouthwash or gum, only temporarily mask the odors created by the bacteria on the tongue, but cannot cure bad breath because they do not remove the source of the bad breath.

Cleaning the tongue - Many companies promote tongue scrapers as a bad breath cure however the bacteria on the tongue can’t be removed with a scraper or brush as they live between the taste buds. Use a tongue scrapper to reduce the food source for bacteria but don’t expect it to cure bad breath. The method of stopping bad breath from the tongue involves rebalancing the bacteria load. Once tongue bacteria are in balance bad breath will cease. For this complex procedure you’ll need to consult Oraltech Labs program at http://www.oraltech.com.au

2. Mouth, There are over 600 types of bacteria found in the average mouth. Other parts of the mouth may also contribute to the overall odor, but are not as common as the back of the tongue. These locations are, in order of descending prevalence: inter-dental and sub-gingival niches, faulty dental work, food-impaction areas in between the teeth, abscesses, and unclean dentures. To fix you will need a dentist to examine your teeth and repair any faults found. Or use Oraltech Labs Unusual Causes Of Bad Breath.

3. Gum disease, advanced periodontal disease is a common cause. Waste products from the anaerobic bacteria growing below the gum line (sub gingival) have a foul smell and have been clinically demonstrated to produce a very intense bad breath. To fix remove the tartar or hard plaque and friable tissue with a soft bristle tooth brush angled on the gum line. This has been shown to improve mouth odor considerably.

4. Nose, in this occurrence, the air exiting the nostrils has a pungent odor that differs from the oral odor. Nasal odor may be due to sinus infections, foreign bodies & commonly Post Nasal Drip. To fix this you will need to flush your sinuses with salt water. It’s very difficult. Use Oraltech Labs program to properly clear all sinus cavities.

5. Tonsils small bits of calcified matter in tonsillar crypts called tonsilloliths that smell extremely foul when released and can cause bad breath. To fix use warm to hot salt water mix to break the stones down or use a water pic to dislodge them. This topic is covered in depth in the Oraltech Labs Program.

6. Stomach, very uncommon source of bad breath. The esophagus is a closed and collapsed tube, and continuous flow (as opposed to a simple burp) of gas or putrid substances from the stomach indicates a health problem—such as reflux serious enough to be bringing up stomach contents or a fistula between the stomach and the esophagus. To fix use Oraltech Labs program to cure bad breath caused by GERD & Acid Reflux.

Management:

1. Gently clean the tongue surface twice daily; that can be achieved using a tooth brush, tongue cleaner or tongue brush/scraper to wipe off the bacterial biofilm, debris, and mucus. Scraping or otherwise damaging the tongue should be avoided, and scraping of the V-shaped row of taste buds found at the extreme back of the tongue should also be avoided. Brushing a small amount of antibacterial mouth rinse or tongue gel onto the tongue surface will further inhibit bacterial action.

2. Eating a healthy breakfast with rough foods helps clean the very back of the tongue.

3. Chewing gum: Since dry-mouth can increase bacterial build-up and cause or worsen bad breath, chewing sugarless gum can help with the production of saliva, and thereby help to reduce bad breath. Chewing may help particularly when the mouth is dry, or when one cannot perform oral hygiene procedures after meals.

4. Gargling right before bedtime with an effective mouthwash.

5. Maintaining proper oral hygiene, including daily tongue cleaning, brushing, flossing, and periodic visits to dentists and hygienists. Flossing is particularly important in removing rotting food debris and bacterial plaque from between the teeth, especially at the gum line.

If none of the above works for you just use the Oraltech Program by visiting - http://www.oraltechlabs.ph
