Do your adult teeth wiggle a little?

So I ve noticed that my top and bottom front teeth wiggle a bit like a half a millimeter (.5mm) I can t stop obsessing about it and playing with them. I give myself panic attacks over it. (Crazy i know) My dentist said they are fine (xrays look good, they feel firm) but I don t seem to think so. When I brush my bottom teeth to my top and put my finger on them they move a little, same with the bottom front teeth, if i brush my top against the bottom. I can see them wiggle a bit too. I was wondering if anyone else experiences this at all. I m only 23 and I ve never had braces. I do smoke ciggerettes. I brush and floss twice a day and use mouth wash. I typically floss and brush right after meals. I keep reading that it s normal and some people say it s not according to people with similar issues. am I just hyper sensitive and notice this more than I should? Dentist says she saw signs of grinding and clenching, my top front teeth are more stable than the bottom ,they wiggle in the mirror if I look close enough. But no less than a half a millimeter. Am I the only one that is experiencing this? Can anyone give me a piece of mind. I ve asked one friend if he can wiggle his teeth he said yeah (mind you he s like 46) and my brother said his do to. Oh and also I noticed that my bottom gums are receded a bit but I think thats from over flossing/ brushing? Is there any products I can use for my gums/teeth and to make the teeth tighte and help with him recession? Thanks in advanced.

Mine do and have for fifty years. Half a millimeter is a minuscule amount.

No. Maybe your teeth wiggle because you refused to take care of them as a child. You do say you smoke after all

Your teeth aren't set in concrete. There is a small....very small....amount of wiggle. If your dentist says they are fine, then be confident in that. If you feel that they are not, go get a second opinion.

Mine move very slightly, BUT I do grind my teeth in my sleep. I've tried all sorts of mouth guards, and none of them have worked.

My problem was I eventually damaged a tooth, I needed a root canal, it infected, I needed some major surgery.
