I just got braces. My ortho never taught me how to floss. I used to floss twice daily as my mom has gum problems, and she had $10000 worth of surgery. I want good gums, but i dont know how to. i looked online, and tried 4 stores, for threaders and stiff end floss. i am stuck! feeding it directly under the archwire dosent work, due to the configuration. i need help!!

If floss threaders or stiff end floss does not work for you, try different oral care aides such as a proxabrush, wooden wedge or anything that seems likely to clean well around the bands and brackets. Im not sure why the threaders arent working for you, they're very slim and I would expect them to be your best bet.

take the floss (they even make special floss with a point on it) lets say ur doing the bottom go under the wire and string the floss through. the floss will then be inbetween ur teeth and the braces wire, then u can just floss that tooth normal, pulll it out and hten move 1 tooth over and repeat the process

answer mine if you can
